ViBE Smartmux MPEG -2 Multiplexing Software

Available on all ViBE front ends, our Smartmux multiplexing software can take single-program transport stream (SPTS) input from multiple ViBE encoders—or SPTS/multi-program transport stream (MPTS) input from any ViBE front end—and create an MPTS at the output of the front end. This capability lets you share several encoders from the same chassis, lowering your total system cost and maximizing the benefits of the ViBE architecture.
