XMU eXtensible Management Unit

Our XMS™ eXtensible Management System offers a suite of software tools for controlling and monitoring any digital television system. The system relies on the XMU eXtensible Management Unit to manage more than 50 types of Thomson transmission devices, including ViBE and NetProcessor digital content delivery platforms, as well as third-party equipment. The XMU solution is dedicated to mastering N+P redundancy: it makes switching decisions and performs necessary equipment reconfigurations prior to router crosspoint activation. This approach ensures near-seamless backup recoveries.
